Again , i hope you like this blue crochet blanket handmade by myself

  This photo does not show the lovely deep blue , but i hope you like it . On with the next project , as i have to make a blanket full of loads of different blues , reds , yellows , purples  ,  grey , white , greens  and the main colour must be an teal blue colour .

Hope you all had a great week !

  Weekend here again , all seems to be going so fast  , or me getting old !
 My youngest has been in and out of school all week with an infection in her toe nail!!!  Very yucky sorry to say , so she had a day off today fed up of the head mistress phoning , please can you come and pick up number five as her toe is bleeding again !!
       Hoping you will all have a great weekend and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has found my blog page and left lovely comments , certainly lifts you !   Also many thanks to the ladies who both gave me an award  , wow makes you feel all good inside , after all the hassle with my child tax credits !!!         Take care everyone , speak soon lots of love   Helen xxx  hoping  to have a nice weekend crochet  , ooops forget number 5 birthday girl  next week , so have to think of a nice pressie !!!!

The Versatile Blogger Award

 Thank you for the blogger award Annmarie! I will pass this on to five other bloggers and try and think of seven interesting things about me!

1. I am 45 years young (old) as my kids would say!
2. Talking of kids, I have 5 ranging from my 19 year old Twins, to my youngest at 7.
3. Tv - I don't get to watch alot, but when I do, I watch Eastenders or family history programmes such as 'Who do you think you are'!
4. Genealogy is one of my main hobbies, I have been doing it since I was 18 so I have gone back quite a few generations! Over 500 years!
5. Been crocheting since I was a child but stopped at about 22 when I got married until around 4 years ago. I didn't crochet one blanket for any of my children as it was never 'in' when they were young. Now it is very popular which allows me to indulge in my hobby.
6. My family and I all love carvanning, have been doing it for 12 years, since my fourth child was born. This year we travelled down to Spain with 6 other families, all in our caravans!
7. I have been with my husband for 28 years, married for 23!

Hope mam's every where are coping with the children going back to school !

     Yeah , three of mine went to school today , all looking smart , new uniforms , new bags , plenty of drinks and food , gave them my lovingly cuddles ,wishing them all luck and then i thought (  and two are away ,) as this is the  first time since MAY   i may get some time to myself   , hahah hee life thought , no such luck !!   then to top it daughter number two phones finishing at 12 !! ????  what  , first day back ??     Anyway hope mams all over the country are coping especially if it is their first full week in school !!    Speak soon , everyone   Love Helen xx

Back to school !!!

    Lucy has gone  back to school , all excited , all new uniform and now in the  JUNIORS !! feeling all grown up , her bag looked bigger than her though |!!  Oh, we will wait  and see if she is still as excited tomorrow .   Oldest daughter gone on her holidays to Zante !!Lucky thing !
